Stanstead granite slabs are unique and can vary slightly in size each piece.

Granite slabs usually have a standard thickness:2cm and 3cm,for different use as belows:

Kitchen tops and islands – 1 to 1/4 inch (3 cm)

Bathroom vanity tops – 3/4 inch (2 cm)

While ¾ inch thick granite countertops are typically seen in bathrooms, you can install them in the kitchen as well. 

There are two types of granite slabs – gangsaw slabs and small cutter slabs.The cutting of various sheets from a block depends upon the block size cut on different types of stone cutting machines. 

Gangsaw Slab Size – 260 x 160 cm up in 2 & 3 cm

Cutter Slab Size – 180 x 60 cm up in 1.8,2 & 3 cm
